Homeboy Industries provides hope, training, and support to formerly gang-involved and previously incarcerated people, allowing them to redirect their lives and become contributing members of our community.

We stand with the demonized so the demonizing will stop. We believe that through connection and advocacy the demonizing will stop. Standing with the demonized means allowing the world to see not faceless gang members but individuals who are sons and daughters, mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters. It means forgiving and letting go of past transgressions and looking forward without judgment.

We foster foundational healing so no one re-offends. We believe that healing happens in an irresistible culture of relational tenderness. In order to create this culture, we provide a safe haven for people to discover and inhabit their authentic selves and become whole. We believe in our trainees until they begin to believe in themselves.
